Founded on a Foundation of Engineering
My name is George Cooper and I founded Lamina to solve a problem I saw repeatedly in the energy sector. After graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, I became focused on how traditional monitoring consistently misses the most significant sources of financial loss: traditional monitoring systems are great at flagging total failures, but they consistently miss the subtle, cumulative losses that quietly cost asset owners millions.
Lamina was created to solve this problem by combining rigorous engineering principles with advanced machine learning techniques. A specialist which operates at the unique intersection of energy engineering, data science and machine learning.
